Making a Difference
Our Anchor Partner
While The Grant-a-Song Foundation is in its early stages, our anchor artist partner, Backtrack Vocals, brings deep experience and a proven track record of impact. Backtrack Vocals has led hundreds of assemblies, workshops, and master classes for schools nationwide.
Backtrack Vocals is known for high-energy, interactive performances that meet students where they are - featuring popular music students recognize and love, crowd-favorite beatboxing demonstrations and tutorials, and opportunities for students to join the performers on stage. By sharing their own stories and breaking down the art of a cappella in a relatable way, Backtrack Vocals makes live performance feel accessible, exciting, and deeply inspiring.
Backtrack Vocals has partnered with organizations such as the Freeman Arts Pavilion, Avalon Arts Foundation, Hudson Riverfront Performing Arts Center, Walker Center, Northeastern Arts Network, and the Dubuque Arts Council to bring programs to schools with limited access to arts programming. Through The Grant-a-Song Foundation, this work will reach even more students and communities.
